ICELAND - BLUE LAGOON

of course 1 week went by like a whistle blow. we decided to save the last day for the blue lagoon. a natural hot spring. thermal pools thousands of meters bellow the earths surface pump up the hot water. the mud is suppose to work miracles for your skin, although my face just got extremely itchy when i tried it. this place was amazing. all in all iceland was one of the most beautiful places i have ever been to in my life! the ever changing country side, waterfalls, blue lagoon, hot springs, geysers, black sand deserts, icebergs, glaciers, green grassed rolling mountains . . . . if u get a chance in your lifetime get there!!! u will not be disappointed!! so now we have a night of sleeping in the airport and its back to barcelona!!!!! (:

iceland 9

THIS WAS THE LAST DAY WE HAD THE CAR. SO WE DECIDED TO DRIVE AROUDN TEH AREA KNOWN AS THE GOLDEN CIRCLE. BOMB ASS GEYSIRS, HUGE WATERFALLS AND OFCOURSE LOTS OF TOURISTS MAKING IT HARD TO GET A GOOD SHOT. ONCE AGAIN WE FOUND LITTLE ROCK STACKS MADE BY ELVES BUT UNFORTUNATLY NO ELF SIGHTINGS YET AGAIN.

ICELAND- WILD WILD HORSES!!!

mary and the horseys fell in love!!! the horses in iceland are one of the most pure bread breeds of horses in the world as no horses have been imported there... ever!!!

ICELAND - INTO THE WILD - WATERFALLS

one morning i woke up at 4:30 in the morning and it was complete day light. not able to return to dream land i decided to go on a mountain hike in search of elves. all i found was endless amazing waterfalls!!!

ICELAND- INTO THE WILD - day 4. GRASS HOUSES

SCATTERED THROUGH THE COUNTRY SIDE U CAN SOMTIMES CME BY SOME REALLY OLD GRASS ROOFED HOUSES. WE WERE REALLY LUCKY TO FIND THIS LITTLE CHURCH. U NEARLY HAD TO CRAWL INSIDE IT WAS SO SMALL. MAYBE A CHURCH FOR ELVES. WE ARE STILL ON THE HUNT AN YET TO FIND ANY YET. IVE GOT A FEELING THE LITTLE PEOPLE ARE NOT FAR OFF.

ICELAND- day 3 - ICEBERG BEACH!!!

THIS PLACE WAS SERIOUSLY SURREAL. ICEBERGS, SEALS AND BLACK SAND BEACHES. WE WENT ON A BOAT-RIDE SO WE COULD GET UP CLOSE AND GET A REAL GOOD LOOK AT THE BERGS. JUST BEFORE THE BOAT TOOK OFF, IT STARTED RAINING. I THINK WE WERE THE OINLY PEOPLE ON THE ISLAND NOT WEARING NORTH FACE GEAR. INSTEAD THE TRUSTY OLD I-PATHS, SOME STACKED LAYERS OF CLOTHES AND SOME GARBAGE BAGS WHICH WE THANKFULLY SWIPED TO KEEP US DRY.
